 Ever since my mother handed me a Pentax SLR film camera when I was 8 years old, I have been capturing life’s moments through still photography.   

I am drawn to creating visual memories of neighbourhoods, communities and spaces that have played an important role in shaping my migrant journey.

As an active volunteer in Vancouver Chinatown, I have been documenting the rich cultural heritage and legacies of the neighbourhood as a living, evolving community.
